About Me:
I am in the midst of a career transition. I worked for many years in the health care system as a speech-language pathologist. My commitment to myself at that time was to leave dysfunctional teams with lousy leadership -- unless there was something I could do to change it. That required changes in my own behaviour to be consistent with my values. I have been volunteering for many years, most recently as President of the Canadian Women Voters Congress.
What Needs of the World Most Resonate with my Call to Leadership
Women need to be more courageous and learn to support each other constructively. I have been involved in learniing about politics and how often the game is stacked against women. My call to leadership is in this realm because I am not afraid of power.
What Do You Wish Were Different?
That people weren't so quick to give their power away.
