- About Me:
- I am in the midst of a career transition. I worked for many years in the health care system as a speech-language pathologist. My commitment to myself at that time was to leave dysfunctional teams with lousy leadership -- unless there was something I could do to change it. That required changes in my own behaviour to be consistent with my values. I have been volunteering for many years, most recently as President of the Canadian Women Voters Congress.
- What Needs of the World Most Resonate with my Call to Leadership
- Women need to be more courageous and learn to support each other constructively. I have been involved in learniing about politics and how often the game is stacked against women. My call to leadership is in this realm because I am not afraid of power.
- What Do You Wish Were Different?
- That people weren't so quick to give their power away.
